I am in Angela's coaching, healing and mentorship program right now. I chose this after 3 regular sessions because I quickly realized that the work she does is absolutely priceless! It's so good it feels like a cheat code.
I have done a lot of personal development in general.
I had to learn a lot on my own. When I signed up for the 8 week program, I wasn't even sure of my intention. I just knew I needed more of what Angela does and trusted that so much I clicked "buy now". Best decision of my life.
Our last session is one that is really standing out for me. All my life I have really struggled with self worth issues, trust, etc. Our last session, my loneliness and need for intimate relationships came up. I have friends but it's all surface level. Even talking about being intimate with another person made me cry in session. This wound is something I've never been able to access in traditional therapy. So she said memories would resurface, I didn't know what they would be.
She did the healing, and a few days in I started to remember memories of my dad talking to my mom, saying horrible and mean things, like no one will ever love you, you are worthless, etc. She has told me he said those things to her, but I didn't remember until now. I talked with her about it, she confirmed. This was in the womb to 9 years old. These "affirmations" created my core beliefs about myself, leading to me never believing I was good enough for friends or anyone for that matter.
How this affects my life now is really shocking to me. I feel so much more available to my husband. I am aware that my perspective about others has changed, I was really putting everyone on a pedestal that they are better than me. Even my opinion about myself is changed. I saw a photo of myself from over the weekend where my stomach roll looks really large and I had so much grace for myself. I'm a mom of 3 and I'm nursing a baby right now. It's ok! Normally that would send me into a depressive episode.
All of my sessions have been beyond amazing, but this one especially I'm so grateful for because my deep core wounds are healed. These wounds were very deep and I often didn't want to be here in this life because I felt so worthless, life felt so pointless.
I never believed it was actually possible to feel so good inside, and I never believed that this level of goodness even existed in real life. I'm finding myself being more of a beacon to others needing goodness as well. Now that I have that vibe, I can share with others too, in my own way. I also notice that I am much more patient with my kids and other's. I am not so quick to anger like I used to be.
This program is definitely an investment, but it was an investment in myself. If I had gone back to traditional therapy, I'm not confident that I could've dealt with all of this, I don't think I could've handled the remembering without the healing included. It would've easily been thousands of dollars and several years. I cannot recommend Angela's work enough.
